Owner/Dog Groomer

I have been a professional dog groomer for over 6 years. I have been the owner of Ruff Cuts for 4 years and have loved every second of it. I have been so lucky to be involved with such an amazing business filled with amazing well educated professional groomers to help keep our furry clients and pet parents happy. I am always learning new grooming skills so that I can be sure to offer you all with updated professional dog grooming. I’m always up for a challenge and love trying new things whether it be adding some colour to your pups or focusing on specific breed clips.

When I’m not at Ruff Cuts I am busy being a Mom of 3 and spending time with my two horses Decker and Nelson. I have always had such a strong love for animals which continues to grow everyday. I will always greet you and your pets with a smile and positive attitude and be sure to make your dogs grooming experience a good one.

Paige Shumilak

Dog Groomer

From a young age I have always had a way and an understanding with animals. I worked with a few local Vets part time as a Veterinarian assistant through high school. Also being involved in the equine world, I furthered my knowledge of animals and their nutrition at the University of Guelph in Kemptville studying agriculture and equine studies.

After college I split my time between working with a competitive world class reining stable and a local pet grooming salon. My passion was with working with dogs and I became a professional dog groomer. I have been in the grooming industry learning and loving what I do for the past 6 years.

In my spare time I enjoy spending it in activities with my two horses, Remington and Muskrat and my two border collie x aussies, Daisy and Duke. We enjoy agility, herding, long nature walks as well as western horse events and trails. I am currently certified in pet first aid .
